Our partners Silvia Uribe Mayoral and Gustavo Hernandez from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid recently attended ‘Ciencia y Pizza’, an event organised at UPM’s School of Engineering and Computer Science (ETSISI) where researchers gathered to discuss their involvement in projects related to health tech innovation.
Silvia and Gustavo took this opportunity to introduce GenoMed4All and Synthema in front of the 80 students and academic peers who attended the event, highlighting how these two EU-funded initiatives are advancing precision medicine for rare diseases by harnessing the power of AI and data.
They were also joined by researchers Manuel Ottaviano and Kike Gutiérrez, who spoke about the role of technology in the context of mental health and the development of digital therapies.
