This 8th of June, during the second hybrid edition of the annual EHA congress, our friends at ERN-EuroBloodNet organized a dedicated meeting to showcase the role of the ERN and the ENROL registry on advancing translational and clinical research in hematology.

GenoMed4All was featured as a pivotal part of the session focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) based models in hematology, alongside our sister project SYNTHEMA. Our colleagues Federico Álvarez (UPM, Project Coordinator), Mar Mañú (VHIR), Raffaella Colombatti (Università di Padova), Matteo Della Porta (Humanitas Research Hospital) and Gastone Castellani (UNIBO) were all there to provide key insights on hot topics like AI and federated learning in medical research, our use cases on Myelodysplastic Syndromes and Sickle Cell Disease, and the use of radiomics and AI based models on images in the latter.
