We have tag-teamed once more with sister project SYNTHEMA at SEHOP2024 – the XVI National Congress of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, which took place at beautiful Palma de Mallorca in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) at the end of May.
Our colleague María del Mar Mañú Pereira from Vall d’Hebron Research Institute, took part in a panel on AI in Pediatric Hematology and presented the work done in both projects in the context of her talk about AI-based data models for advanced research in non-oncological hematology. Mar walked the audience through the work done to set the fundaments to validate AI techniques for anonymisation and synthetic data generation in rare hematological diseases.
